Talkcyprus.org is an online community of Cypriots, not just from Cyprus but the diaspora, together with those who have a general interest in Cyprus. Members are mainly from Cyprus, Republic of Cyprus controlled area and Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (liberated zone), Turkey, Greece, UK, USA and Australia.
The bicommunal website seeks to reconcile the two communities of Cyprus, through dialogue and/or discussion of the Cyprus dispute, and also discusses Cypriot affairs and issues in general, although its member generally express anti-Turkish views.
Set up by Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus resident Erol Ziya in August 2005, the community has grown considerably and now undertakes translation projects of articles from Turkish and Greek language sources.
